Speciality Doctor at Willow Wood Hospice
Pay Scale SAS doctor £40,037 – £74.661 Pro Rata
2 Sessions a week (plus on-call to be discussed at interview)
Applications are invited for a doctor to work at Willow Wood hospice, gaining experience in Palliative Medicine. Previous experience is not essential as full training will be given, but if you have experience this would be welcomed. You will need to have full registration, and to have worked for a minimum of 3 years full-time equivalent post-registration.
You will join our multidisciplinary team providing excellent medical care to patients living with life-limiting illnesses, both on our 12 bedded Inpatient Unit and in Day Services.
This role is for a fixed 12 month period initially.The post may become longer term on mutual agreement, and it could also be utilised to provide experience prior to applying for speciality training.

A vacancy has become available for a dynamic and highly motivated individual to join our fundraising team.
We are looking for a dynamic and outgoing fundraiser to join our team to develop events and community fundraising activities. If you can get out and engage new supporters, build new relationships and grow our income this could be a great opportunity for you.
Exceptional communication skills are essential for this role as well as a passion for the work of Willow Wood and a drive and confidence to raise funds. As an excellent team worker, you will work with the wider Income Generation team as well as on your own activities with the patients within our community at the heart of all that you do.
You do not need charity experience if you think that you could adapt your skills to this role although a charity fundraising or sales background would be beneficial.
