We have these two new roles working within our dynamic retail operation.
Drivers are a crucial part of our retail team collecting donations and delivering purchased goods, servicing our shops, online and retail distribution centre teams.
With responsibility for the company vehicle, and for ensuring that the excellent Hospice reputation is maintained within the community, you will work closely with the team in order to fulfil our big ambitions for 2018.
We are looking for candidates with a positive, friendly, can do attitude. You should have the ability to demonstrate the hospice values and an empathy with the Hospice ethos is essential.

Bank Speciality Doctor in Palliative Medicine
Willow Wood Hospice is looking for an enthusiastic doctor to join their medical team providing specialist palliative care to people living with life limiting illness. All our services are free to anyone living in the Tameside and Glossop area.
You will be part of a dedicated clinical team led by the Medical Director who is also employed as a Consultant in Palliative Medicine to Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care Organisation at Tameside General Hospital. Willow Wood Hospice has 12 inpatient beds and a Day Services providing physiotherapy, hydrotherapy and complementary therapy as well as a Family Support Service. We provide the full suite of physical, psychological and spiritual care needed by our patient and their families and carers at what can be a difficult time.
Willow Wood medical team also provides palliative support to the psychiatry wards of Pennine Care on the Tameside General Hospital site, especially to patients with dementia.
We care for people living with all malignant and non-malignant life limiting illnesses, and have a close relationship with Tameside Hospital and community teams.
You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and an understanding of MDT working. Support in developing Specialist Palliative skills will be provided to you by the medical team.
Location: Willow Wood Hospice, Tameside
Hours: Bank sessions at weekends, with the possibility of sessional work during the week

Bank Staff Nurse
Pay scale – £22,128 (pro-rata)

Willow Wood Hospice is an adult hospice providing care for patients with life limiting conditions. We care for these adults by providing symptom control and end of life care. The needs of the patients and their families are at the heart of all we do.
We are seeking a full time staff nurse, primarily on days but will be expected to cover some nights, to assist with the provision of high quality holistic care. You will be responsible for the assessment and care of symptom control needs, including the medicines management of a patient along with providing psychological support for both the patients and their carers.
To apply you will need to be a level 1 registered nurse with a minimum of 1 years post registration experience. You must have some experience of caring for patients with palliative care needs and in the provision of end of life care.
