First of all, thank you for deciding to fundraise for Willow Wood. We appreciate everything you do for us, and will help you wherever we can.
Although we touch the lives of thousands in the communities of Tameside and Glossop every year, our care will always be free to our patients and their families. However it comes at a cost.
This year it will take over £2.8million to maintain and develop our services. That's £7,650 every single day and although we receive funding for around 21% the remainder has to be raised from within our community. This year, the majority of our fundraising events have had to be cancelled or postponed and we are looking at a very different fundraising calendar than usual. That's why we're even more grateful for everything our supporters are doing for us
There are so many ways you can get involved. Even the smallest amounts can make such a difference to us.
Are you working from home at the moment? Could you donate your bus or train fares to us? Just £6 will help our specialist Dementia Nurses phone carers with support, help and advice. And if you donate your fares for one week, £30 will pay for a uniform for one of our hard-working nurses.
Although we now have our social bubbles, it's likely to be quite a long while before the mass participation events return - could you set up your own challenge?

Once you've decided what you're doing to raise funds we'd be grateful if you could let us know by completing the form below. This helps us know what's happening in the area, and enables us to help you by promoting your event.
We can help by putting your event on our online events diary, and sharing your online sponsor page on our social media. Find out other ways you can maximise your potential fundraising:
